Vision Is Priceless provided free vision screenings for children attending Living Waters Preschool. Sawyer, age 3, was one of the children screened. Our screening instrument detected signs of Amblyopia, an eye disease that if untreated can lead to blindness. Results from the screening were provided to Sawyer’s family. Vision Is Priceless’ Medical Director, Dr. Dawn Duss, provided a pediatric ophthalmic exam. She worked with Sawyer’s family for nearly a year to correct his vision health. We are excited to announce that Sawyer’s eye has corrected and he is now on to wearing his “big boy” glasses.

After less than a year in a full-time patch we’ve given this child back 20/20 vision, from an eye that wasn’t working at all!
